Managing Assigned Staff for a Wedding

In Seated With Love, each wedding must have at least one staff member assigned. Assigned staff members are responsible for managing the wedding and supporting the couple throughout the planning process.

Staff assignments are also tied to communication permissions. If communication is enabled for a wedding, only assigned staff members can message the couple through the platform.

Managing staff assignments helps ensure the correct team members are responsible for each event.


Why Assigned Staff Matter

Assigned staff members:

  • Manage the wedding’s planning details

  • Receive email notifications when couples send messages

  • Can communicate directly with couples through the platform (when communication is enabled)

  • Are responsible for supporting the couple during the planning process

Because of this, every wedding must have at least one staff member assigned.


How to Manage Assigned Staff

Follow the steps below to add or remove staff members from a wedding.

  1. Log in to Seated With Love
    Sign in to your Seated With Love dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Weddings
    From the main navigation, click Weddings.

  3. Open the wedding you want to manage
    Find the wedding and click the Manage button.

  4. Navigate to Team
    In the wedding management page, click Team.

  5. Add or remove staff members
    From this section, you can assign staff members to the wedding or remove them as needed.


Note: If communication is enabled for a wedding, only staff members assigned to that wedding will be able to message the couple through the portal.
