How to Update a Planning Item Option

Options allow couples to choose from predefined selections when responding to planning items in a package template. If details about an option change—such as pricing, descriptions, or images—you can easily update the option without creating a new one.

Updating an option ensures couples always see the most accurate information when making their planning selections.

Steps to Update a Planning Item Option

1. Log in to Seated With Love
   Sign in to your Seated With Love dashboard.

2. Navigate to Packages
   From the main navigation, click Packages.

3. Select the template you want to edit
   Find and open the package template that contains the planning item.

4. Locate the planning item
   Find the planning item with the option you want to update.

5. Click the pencil icon
   Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to the option you want to update.

6. Update the option information
   From the edit window, you can modify any of the option fields, including:

   • Name

   • Description

   • Price (optional)

   • Price Type (static, per person, per table, or per hour)

   • Photo (optional)

7. Save your changes
   Once you finish updating the option, save your changes to apply them to the planning item.

Tip: Updating an option allows you to adjust details like pricing or descriptions without needing to delete and recreate the option.
