How to Create a New Wedding
Creating a wedding in Seated With Love is the main way venues organize and manage events happening at their venue. Each wedding acts as a dedicated workspace where you can manage planning details, communicate with couples, assign staff, and configure tools such as packages, floor plans, and wedding websites.
Follow the steps below to create a new wedding.
Before You Start
Before creating a wedding:

Be logged in to Seated With Love

Be on the main dashboard

Navigate to the Weddings page
Steps to Create a Wedding
- Create a new wedding

Add the couple’s names
Enter the names of the couple whose wedding you are creating and then click next.

Choose the wedding date
Select the date of the wedding from the calendar and the click Next.

Choose a wedding website template
Select how the wedding website should be handled for this couple. You can choose from the following options:-
Assign a template – Choose a website template you previously created.

Assign later – Couples will only see the default website option until a template is assigned.

Disable – Couples will not be able to create a wedding website through the platform.

Choose a package template
Select a package template that contains questions, forms, and planning details for the couple.-
You can select a package you previously created

Or choose Disable if no package should be assigned

Choose a floor plan option
Decide how the couple will manage their seating layout.-
Disable – Couples will not be able to seat guests through the platform.

Assign a floor plan – A template floor plan will be copied to the couple’s wedding. You can edit this floor plan specifically for their event.

Allow couples to choose – Select multiple floor plans and allow the couple to choose the layout they want.

Assign staff members
Assign at least one staff member to the wedding.The assigned staff members will be responsible for managing and communicating with the couple throughout the planning process.

Invite the couple
Enter the email addresses of the couple so they are automatically invited to their planning portal. If the couple is using an outside planner you can invite them here as well.You can also enable or disable communication:

When enabled, you can message couples directly within the platform.

All messages are saved in conversation history.

When couples send a message, assigned venue staff receive an email notification.

When venue staff send a message, the couple receives an email notification.

Click Create
After completing all required fields, click Create to finalize the wedding and generate the couple’s planning portal.
